Poll Reveals Which Presidential Candidate Voters Have Faith in Managing Economy and Inflation

A recent ABC News/Ipsos poll has shown that when it comes to handling inflation and the economy, more voters trust former President Donald Trump over current President Joe Biden. In preparation for the upcoming presidential election in November, the majority of respondents expressed that the economy and inflation were their top concerns, with 88% and 85% respectively.

When it comes to managing the economy, 46% of voters chose Trump over Biden, who only received 32% of support. However, a significant portion of voters, 21%, did not trust either candidate to effectively handle economic issues. Similarly, when it comes to inflation, Trump was preferred by 46% of voters compared to 30% who believed Biden would be better suited for the task. One-fourth of voters indicated that they had no trust in both candidates regarding managing rising inflation.

Despite Trump’s clear preference in managing the economy and inflation, the poll shows a tight race between him and Biden for the upcoming election.
