Survey Reveals Which Presidential Candidate Voters Confide In Regarding Economy and Inflation

A recent survey by ABC News/Ipsos revealed that voters have more trust in former President Donald Trump when it comes to handling issues of inflation and the economy. The poll found that 88% of respondents identified the economy as a key issue, while 85% cited inflation as a concern. When asked which candidate they trusted more to handle the economy, 46% favored Trump compared to 32% for Biden, with 21% expressing distrust in both candidates on the issue.

Similar results were seen regarding inflation, with 46% of voters favoring Trump to address rising prices, compared to 30% who supported Biden. One-quarter of voters indicated they did not trust either candidate to tackle the issue of inflation. Despite these findings, the poll showed Trump and Biden in a close race, with Trump leading Biden 46% to 44%, while ten percent of voters preferred another candidate.

Among registered voters, Biden had a slight lead over Trump at 46% to 45%, while among likely voters, Biden’s support increased to 49% with Trump at 45%. The poll reflects the divided opinions of voters on key economic issues and the competitive nature of the upcoming election between Trump and Biden.
