Oklahoma Wesleyan Baseball Clinches KCAC Tournament Title, Secures NAIA National Tournament Spot with Impressive Victory Over Kansas Wesleyan

Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball has secured a spot in the NAIA National Tournament after winning the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament with an undefeated weekend in Great Bend, Kansas. The Eagles clinched the tournament title with a 6-4 win over Kansas Wesleyan in the final match-up.

Ashton Luera pitched a shutout inning on the final out to secure the victory for Oklahoma Wesleyan. The team managed to score four runs across the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings, while Kansas Wesleyan was unable to score any runs after the seventh inning.

The Eagles had previously defeated Friends with a score of 7-5 on Saturday, setting them up for success in the title round on Sunday. Now, they eagerly await the NAIA Tournament selection show on Thursday to learn their destination for the Regional portion of the event.

With this impressive win, Oklahoma Wesleyan has shown they are a force to be reckoned with in college baseball.
