The Mental Health Awareness Walk is happening next week

The Northern Regional Center for Independent Living (NRCIL) is hosting the 19th Annual Mental Health Awareness Walk in Watertown, New York next week. The walk will take place on Wednesday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Community health worker Robert Bowen recently appeared on 7 News at Noon to discuss the upcoming event.

The route begins at the Dulles State Office Building and concludes at the Butler Pavilion at J.B. Wise Plaza in downtown Watertown. Participants can look forward to music, food, informational booths, yoga, and various other activities throughout the day. The event is open to all and free to attend.

It is clear that the community is coming together to raise awareness about mental health and provide resources for those in need.
