In Belgrade, Serbia, Joshua is set to face Kiplimo once again at the upcoming World Athletics Cross Country Championships. Other notable athletes including Berihu Aregawi of Ethiopia and Sabastian Sawe of Kenya are also vying for top positions.

At the most recent World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Bathurst, Australia, Kiplimo emerged victorious with Cheptegei securing individual and team bronze medals.

Cheptegei expressed his excitement for the upcoming race, aiming for a third senior individual medal. The race will take place at Friendship Park in Belgrade, featuring a loop and obstacles like arch bridges, a hay maze, and hurdles.

The women’s U20 race will begin at 11am (CET) on Saturday, with the senior men’s race following at 1:30pm.
