A World in Motion: A Snapshot of Life on May 6, 2024

On May 6, 2024, despite technical difficulties, some of the highlighted images from international wire agencies included a vigil for Antonio Lee where police officers questioned a boy in Baltimore. A member of Safe Passage was seen working in the Tenderloin neighborhood in San Francisco. Streamers dropping after the Dallas Stars defeated the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs were also featured. Athletes competing in the bike portion of the 2024 Intermountain Health IRONMAN 70.3 in St. George, Utah were also shown. People scavenging recyclable materials in Dandora, the largest garbage dump in Nairobi, Kenya were also photographed as well as a boy riding his bike at a vigil for Antonio Lee who was shot and killed in Baltimore.
